Professor Mike Thompson joined CEIBS on September 1st, 2010 as Professor of Management Practice. He has been Visiting Professor of Responsible Leadership at CEIBS since 2009. ??He is director of the Centre for Leadership and Responsibility (ECCLAR). Professor Thompson was formerly CEO of GoodBrand, an international sustainable enterprise consultancy providing services to major multinational clients.

He has served on the boards of a number of profit and not-for-profit companies including the UK’s largest independent toy retailer. Professor Thompson has been active in the field of social enterprise, serving on the Board of Young Enterprise UK and, currently, as a director of The Hub Kings Cross, London, a serviced office and members network for social entrepreneurs. He speaks and writes on sustainable strategy and responsible leadership and his recent publications include: Leadership Spirituality and the Common Good (co-edited with H-C de Bettignies, 2010); “Managing Sustainability for Economic Return in the Multinational Enterprise” in Mobley, W. H., Li, M., & Wang, Y. (Eds.) Advances in Global Leadership. Vol 6, 2011 and Leading with Wisdom, co-edited with J. Eynikel, 2011.
