Jeff Jarvis, author of the BusinessWeek best-selling book What Would Google Do?, writes about the internet, innovation, and media on his blog, Buzzmachine.com, and for the Guardian. He appears on the podcasts This Week in Google and MediaTalkUSA for the Guardian and frequently in media. At the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism, he heads the interactive program and the Center for Journalistic Innovation. Jarvis was creator and founding editor of Entertainment Weekly magazine; TV critic for TV Guide and People magazines; Sunday editor of the New York Daily News; columnist for the San Francisco Examiner; and president and creative director of the online arm of the parent company of Condé Nast. He lives in the New York area and is at work on a book about the benefits of publicness.
