Eric Hubler founded Altamira Développement and launched an innovative concept in Leadership training, the AIKIDO MANAGEMENT ® method.
Often described as a ‘’revealer’’ and entrepreneur to the core, Eric Hubler was born an adventurer. He became interested in travel and the human experience from a very young age. From Europe to the United States, where he began his career as the Head of the Alsace Trade Office in Los Angeles, then on to South America, he lived a series of experiences with a passion, discovering populations, wide-open spaces and cultures, not to mention the best professional practices.
Between 1994 and 2005, Eric was in charge of commercial development at the family business, Hubler SA which, in 2004, was ranked by Figaro Entreprises among the best-performing small and medium-sized companies in France, with exceptional results. He drew precious lessons from this experience in terms of managing business and men, with one deeply held belief – that high performance entails a manager’s ability to create meaning, to embody change, to free up energies on all levels and to develop a strong feeling in everyone of confidence and of belonging to a collective project.
In 2005, he left the family business to set out on his own entrepreneurial adventure. He founded Altamira Développement and launched an innovative concept in Leadership training, the AIKIDO MANAGEMENT ® method, developed two years earlier and inspired by the twofold practice of management and the martial arts (Judo/Aikido). To date, he has worked with over 250 organizations and trained over 7,000 executives, managers and employees from all geographical, economic and social backgrounds.
