About Thomas Bubendorfer
Thomas Bubendorfer discovered his love for mountain climbing at the age of twelve. The extreme mountaineer has completed over 70 first ascents, many solo and without ropes. He climbed in record time in the Alps, the Andes, Alaska, and the Himalayas. His only fall so far – where he fell 20 meters on rocky terrain and broke several vertebrae – nearly ended his career as a professional climber, but just a year later he celebrated his comeback. In his lectures and seminars, he shares his performance philosophy with managers and executives. Books like “Vertical Against Time” and his latest “Starting Point Now” illustrate the parallels between mountaineering and the job of a manager.
