Kuldip Singh is an economist, registered controller, Harvard-certified data scientist, and Harvard-certified Commissioner. He is an experienced executive who has made his mark by leading large digital and data-driven transformations across various sectors such as consultancy, media, energy, healthcare, etc. He inspires organizations in both public and private sectors with the possibilities of digital technology, concrete practical experience, and especially lessons learned on what works and what doesn’t.
Digital transformation is a broad umbrella term, but by approaching it with a practical and structured framework, it becomes clear why we need to move, where the opportunities lie, and on which different horizons we should focus to make the organization future-proof. Kuldip, as an experienced evangelist of digital, knows how to engage and excite all management levels with inspiration from various sectors, but also what can we do tomorrow and how?
After his years of management consulting experience, he has been active in various Board roles in leading international media organizations (including Sanoma, Bertelsmann) where he was instrumental in the disruptive digitization and internationalization of traditional, online, and ‘pure play’ digital brands. His digital knowledge and experience have been foundational to the highly successful international digital and data-driven strategy of innogy and later E.ON in 15 countries, impacting 50 million customers.
Currently, he offers his digital and data-driven knowledge and expertise in various Commissioner roles, including at KPMG, ROM InWest, De KinderTelefoon, and InnoBeweegLab.
He regularly delivers highly valued lectures at major national and international events (re:invent, DDMA Data Day, European Utility Week, etc.), and is also frequently a guest lecturer at various universities, including Nyenrode and St. Gallen Business University in Switzerland, to share his digital expertise. Furthermore, he is often invited to give specific lectures (for example, to senior management or the CFO role) during inspiration events of organizations regarding the impact of digital technology.
For the societal impact of his digital and innovative work in the energy sector, he was named ‘Most Innovative Executive of the Netherlands’ by CIO Magazine in 2019. In 2018, he was recognized as one of the top 5 Dutch Digital Transformation Executives.
