Dr. Mohamed El Sahili, a visionary leader in healthcare and sustainability, was born in Saida, Lebanon. His academic journey began with high school in Lebanon, followed by two years in Toulouse, France. Returning to Beirut, he earned his medical degree from the Lebanese University, specializing in Anesthesia and Reanimation at Beirut Arab University. Eager to advance, he relocated to Geneva, Switzerland, launching his career while pursuing studies in Anti-Aging Medicine.
From his university days, Dr. El Sahili’s humanitarian spirit shone through involvement in NGOs focused on patient care and disability projects. This passion culminated in a 2005 collaboration with UN agencies to create the musical “Ensan,” a groundbreaking production raising HIV/AIDS awareness across Lebanon.
In September 2014, Dr. El Sahili pivoted to business, becoming CEO of Fairy Bottling Zambia in Lusaka. Under his stewardship until its 2019 acquisition by The Coca-Cola Company, he orchestrated one of Southern Africa’s largest FMCG deals, acquiring bottling operations in Zambia and 13 other nations. Simultaneously, he spearheaded the design and launch of Medland Hospital, a beacon of quality care. His contributions earned him the 2018 Africa Food Industry Champion award in Kenya.
Public service defined his Zambian tenure; as chair of the Lusaka Water Security Initiative (2016-2018), he forged public-private partnerships with international organizations to secure clean water access for underserved communities.
Medland Hospital opened in August 2019, only to face the COVID-19 onslaught. This crisis transformed Dr. El Sahili’s ethos, evolving from patient-centered care to a holistic, people-focused model emphasizing accessibility and affordability. He pioneered QHUB, a network of health units enhancing screening, treatment, and prevention amid the pandemic, prioritizing rural and marginalized populations.
Future is now; no goal is impossible – across all sectors.
His innovative impact garnered global acclaim, including the Waterfalls Global Award and the UAE Ministry of Interior’s Community Service Medal. Honored by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, these accolades ignited a fervent drive, inspired by Sheikh Zayed’s legacy of humanistic progress.
Today, Dr. El Sahili champions sustainable, agile healthcare at the intersection of climate change and AI. Through Vision 853—a “Triple W” framework—he advances Women and Youth Empowerment, Water and Waste Management, and Wellness and Health. He leads Medland Health Services, hospitality firm Hospiservices Plus, pharmaceutical venture Pharmaland, and consultancy The Healthcare Studio, while investing in health-tech startups.
Deepening his expertise, he graduated with a Master’s in Sustainable Humanitarian Action from UCAM University in Murcia, Spain, in April 2024. In early 2025, he launched his debut book, Visiopreneur: The Tomorrow Entrepreneur, in the UAE, and was named “CEO of the Year” at the World Health Tourism Conference in Marbella, Spain.
Anchoring these pursuits is the Care and Aim Network for Humanity, a platform uniting his efforts toward a green, equitable global society. Dr. El Sahili’s trajectory—from healer to entrepreneur—exemplifies unyielding commitment to a healthier, sustainable tomorrow.
