As an official in the Eredivisie, Champions League, and Europa League, he operates under extreme pressure weekly, where decisions must be made in fractions of a second and leadership is immediately visible to players, staff, and thousands of spectators.

He applies those same skills daily within education.

In addition to his career as a top referee, Allard works as a teacher, mentor at the teacher training college, and supports students on the autism spectrum in primary and secondary education. He knows the classroom from the inside and understands how challenging it is to maintain calm, structure, and authority in an environment where assertiveness, performance pressure, and parental involvement are increasing.
