Patrick Rosier received his MBA from INSEAD after graduating in Economic Sciences at the University of Lyon, France.
Starting his career at the GILLETTE Company, he held a variety of senior positions in Marketing, Sales and General Management, in different divisions over 3 continents. His last position, headquartered in London, was European Director of the Shaving division and record historical proKits were reached during those 4 years.
Then he joined the Sporting Goods industry as General Manager, Marketing and Sales, for ADIDAS France. The company was made up of 3 key brands (Adidas, Le Coq Sportif, and Arena) and also started its own distribution network of Adidas Styles shops.
Patrick Rosier later joined the POLAROID Corporation, as European Director for Consumer products. He supervised 5 business regions and 18 countries. He orchestrated the Vision camera launch for Europe and set up a pan European award winning communication campaign.
Moving on, he was appointed European Vice?President for the Walt Disney Attractions division of the WALT DISNEY Company, and was responsible for marketing and selling the US Disney parks to the European public. Mr. Rosier was then hired as President, Europe and Latin America, for the BOLLE Company, a world’s leader in sun and protection glasses. He managed the European factory, reorganized the sub?contractors production process and boosted sales of independent distributors. Finally, Patrick Rosier returned to the Hospitality/Leisure & Travel industry as European Marketing and Sales Director for CLUB MED, also responsible for the Middle East and Africa.
In 2006, he retired and started a diversified teaching activity, amongst a variety of business schools and universities, largely inspired by his previous years of professional experience. Some of his favorite teaching topics are: Global/International Marketing; Promotional Marketing; CRM; Inter Cultural Negotiation; The Leisure and Travel Industry; Sports Marketing, as well as a specific methodology to increase “Effective Selling” output. Patrick Rosier, a French citizen, is fluent in English and Spanish with some knowledge of German and Italian.
