Milie Nwoye is a physician and hormone health expert who empowers women through all phases of life — from PMS to postmenopause. With a clear and practical approach, she shares essential insights on hormones, burnout and women’s wellbeing.
The three most stressful life changes are birth, weddings, and moving. Ironically, it was my move from the United States to Belgium for love that clarified my life’s mission – empower women with a deep understanding of their hormones and provide them with the right tools to work with and not against their hormones through their three different life phases – reproductive, perimenopause, and post menopause.
Unwittingly, my personal life has been ruled by big life changes. I moved from Nigeria to the United States for my higher education. I obtained my pre-medical degree at Northwest Missouri State University. Then my medical diploma at Northwestern University Medical School. I then completed my residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Medical Center. I moved to Belgium and completed my fellowship in hormone medicine.
The smaller but cyclical changes from the follicular phase to the luteal phase can be difficult, and the big change from the reproductive phase to menopause can also be equally difficult. Both are, on the one hand, physiologic, yet can be symptomatic. My passion is helping women solve this hormone puzzle with time-tested yet practical tools.
