Vincent de Kort, who started as an assistant to Bernard Haitink, has built up a major international career as a conductor. Today Vincent de Kort is one of Holland’s most well-known and talented conductors. His career brings him all over the world, working with symphony orchestras and opera companies in prestigious concerthalls and international festivals. Vincent regularly gives master classes and seminars and is a jury member at international competitions.

In his own country he has become also very popular with a large audience as the jury chairman of the AvroTros TV show MAESTRO, every Sunday night watched by 2 million people. He is a regular guest in TV talkshows as a devoted advocate about classical music. In 2019 his book ‘The Magic of the Maestro’ was published at Singel Publishers. In addition to his performing career, Vincent is a passionate runner, re runs two marathons each year.
