Javier Ortego was the District Manager of Coca-Cola Company. He was also General Manager of Innovation and New Business at the Multimedia Index (QDQ – La Guía Útil). He was the Director of Operations in San Miguel (Spanish beer brand, San Miguel Corporation), leading the Marketing and Sales Departments. As a Marketing Manager – New Business, he has worked for Schweppes, Cadbury Beberages Europe (in this one, he was part of the European team of merger and acquisitions). He is member of the advisor counsil in Artelier Comunicación. He also collaborates in the Innostrat (the Institut of Innovation and Applied Strategy). His work as a counselor and advisor proves he is one of the best consultants in these fields. For instance, he works as a counselor in Carlandia Internacional SA, where he has developed and applied different methods for the commercial networks for the brands Renault España and Fiat Group Spain. He has developped applications and training programmes for Peugeot España, Renault España, Mercedes Benz (Daimler Chrysler) and BMW. He has done several sectorial reports for these brands and also for Honda.

As a coach, Javier Ortego has done different trainings for commercial networks (new products presentations, commercial techniques, management skills) for several clients, such as El Corte Inglés, Pescanova, Equipos Mecánicos Servicios and Nestlé. He has advised in areas like commercial consultancy for Hispanofil, Atlante (Indra), Syrsa and MOSA.

Furthermore, Javier Ortego has enough time to spread his knowledge beeing a teacher in different institutions, like IE Business School, EEN (European Business School), ESIC, ICADE, Coventry University. As a speaker, he also has experience and he has performed for the IESE, different Spanish Chambers of Commerce (Navarra, Murcia and Valladolid), universities, conventions and events. He is the co-author of the book Cómprame y Vende (Buy Me and Sell).
