Since 2003 Wouter Boon works as a brand strategist in the creative industry. Besides being a consultant Wouter is also editor-in-chief of international ad magazine Amsterdam Ad Blog, and in 2014 he published ‘Defining Creativity’, a book that concisely yet comprehensively explains what creativity is. He also gives lectures about creativity around the world and teaches it at the Utrecht School of the Arts. Wouter Boon started his career as legal counsel at Unilever and subsequently as lawyer at a Dutch law firm. In 2003 he switched to advertising and since then has worked as a brand and advertising strategist for a wide variety of creative agencies and brands. Wouter also frequently speaks at educations and organisations.In his lectures Wouter likes to give his audience an in-depth view on creativity from many different theoretical angles. At the same time his lectures are very accessible thanks to the many practical examples that support his theories. Together with his extensive experience as a strategist he is the ideal inspirator for companies and organisations.
