After training in NL and USA, he worked for 14 years at McDonald’s NL, of which 7 years as General Manager. He has founded companies in the Netherlands, Spain and the USA, where he has also lived for many years. Since 2010, he also advises and guides teams and organizations in their development and growth. René is also active as a publicist and author of the #1 management book ‘The Secret of Growth Power’.
René’s keynotes are extremely popular. He takes his audience on a journey of discovery into the 8 steps of Groeikracht and shares his experiences with growth companies such as McDonald’s. With practical facts, new insights, anecdotes and of course a lot of personal interaction. Because why is organizing and sustaining growth so difficult? Why can large companies like McDonald’s continue to grow successfully while many others fail? How and when should you innovate and change with it? What will the companies of tomorrow look like and what does that mean for the employee of the future? These questions are vital if you want to continue to grow successfully as a company. As an enthusiastic speaker and chairman of the day, René knows how to captivate his audience from start to finish – he shakes the room up, holds up a mirror,
