Pau Garcia-Milà was born in Olesa de Montserrat (Barcelona) in 1987. He is a young entrepreneur and business owner since he is 17 years old.
During 8 years, he has managed eyeOS, a company he founded in 2005. EyeOs was part of the beginning of the Cloud Computing. With this enterprise Pau became a fierce competitor of big multinationals at the technologic sector. Additionally, eyeOS has been the bigger and most important free software project ever created in Spain. Is co-creator and counselor at Bananity, a social network focused in promoted what people is passioned with (what they love and hate).
Pau Garcia-Milà collaborates in different media like Onda Cero (radio station) and TV3 (Catalan Television), where he hosts an entrepreneur section. He has appeared in different programmes of Buenafuente (La Sexta televisión) and in Desaprender (Antena 3 televisión). Furthermore, Pau has co-leaded the Catalan radio programme only focused in entrepreneurs. Since 2012 he is associated teacher at ESADE at the Digital Business Master programme.
Despite his youth, Pau has received very important prizes, such as Premio de los Príncipes de Asturias y Gerona “Impulsa Empresa 2010” (about inspiring new business), the MIT Prize as “Innovator of the year 2011” and the National Communication Prize in 2009. Pau is also the author of the books “Tot está per fer” in 2011 (Everything Is to Be Done) and “Optimismamente” in 2012. The last published book is “Tienes una idea” (You Have an Idea).
