Patrick Corsi has created 3 consultancies since 2001, specialized in breakthrough innovation design: C-K Theory, Blue Ocean™, Open Innovation methodologies. He is consultant for companies, incubators, startups and labs over 9 EU countries and USA. Author and co-author of 9 business books in innovation, hitech marketing and complexity in industry, he is a professional speaker, coach and mentor of several executives.
Over the past 33 years, Patrick Corsi has held several positions : IBM Corp. USA San Jose Research Lab & Office Products Division, IBM France La Gaude, SYSECA Department manager and THOMSON-CSF College Scientifique et Technique, COGNITECH (leading start-up in AI manager and advisor to President) and senior Project officer for industrial projects portfolio within the European Commission (also sparked institutional linkup with EU’s venture capital industry).
He has also a hybrid background : former researcher in applied computer science, Patrick Corsi is a “Docteur-Ingénieur in Génie Informatique” from ENSIMAG and was at the “Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble” (1979) after a “Maîtrise de mathématiques et Applications Fondamentales” in Marseille (1974) and a “DEA in Mathématiques Appliquées” (1978).He has a preparation to the “Agrégation de mathématiques” and is an alumni of the Brussels Business School of Economics 2003.
Furthermore, Patrick Corsi is a trainer since young age and a former university Associate Professor at ISTIA Innovation, University of Angers during 12 years (over 1200 hours at graduation level) on innovation business. He lectured at 12 universities, engineering and business schools even since a student in 1978.
He trained to groups animation during the spark of group dynamics discipline in France in 1968 (1966 in the USA) both at theoretical and practical levels, and socio-educative training at regional and national levels. He went on full training process of instructorship through 1969-1975 and trained several hundred animators through residential sessions, as well as the future French instructors at the same regional and national levels. He directed youth centers. All of which being certified and audited by French Ministère de la Jeunesse et des Sports.
