Marga Hoek has been a CEO three times and is now an international Board Member, Chair, and boardroom advisor through her company Business for Good. Additionally, she is a partner at Chair Mentors International, which mentors CEOs of multinationals. Earlier, in 2010, Marga co-founded De Groene Zaak with a group of CEOs, an employers’ organization for sustainable enterprises. In 2012, she established Het Groene Brein and led this network as chair of the board. Het Groene Brein is a unique network of over 85 scientists that accelerates the transition to a sustainable economy through innovation. Marga introduced the term ‘Business for Good.’ It is her mission to demonstrate worldwide how businesses in every sector can perform well by doing good. Her vision as a thought leader is continuously shared in leading publications such as The Financial Times, Forbes, Fortune, Huff Post, CEO Today, and MIT Technology Review.
