About Fred Colantonio

Fred Colantonio is a professional speaker, business advisor and author specialising in change, innovation, leadership and behaviour. A criminologist by training, Fred has spent twenty years decoding human behaviour: what activates and what inhibits. Instead of playing a Netflix series character, he chose a different playground: companies, teams and entrepreneurs. Instead of a desk in the Belgian public administration, he works in the field, where decisions, resistance and real progress actually happen.

His goal is to expose chloroformism, the kind of conformity that puts people to sleep, in order to reactivate people’s DNA, their Differentiating Natural Asset, where they make maximal impact with minimum friction. Since 2006, Fred Colantonio has helped organisations and decision-makers to challenge the status quo, step back to decide more clearly, and reignite momentum across their teams.

Fred Colantonio ranks among the global top of his profession. He is one of relatively few speakers to hold the international Certified Speaking Professional designation, earned by fewer than six hundred professionals worldwide. He has delivered more than 1,150 keynotes in over twenty countries across four continents, for more than two hundred organisations, ranging from banking and insurance to industry, retail, tech and the public sector. He works bilingually, in French and English, and is a TEDx speaker.

As an author, Fred Colantonio has written ten books in twelve years, several of which became bestsellers and twice earned the title of “Marketing Book of the Month”. Alongside his talks, he supports organisations as a kind of Chief Momentum Officer during growth, transformation, cohesion and repositioning.
