Emilio Llopis has a PhD in Marketing from the Universidad Cardenal Herrera-CEU, he has a Bachelor in Economics and Business from the Universitat de Valencia, a PDD from IESE Business School and a Master in Sales and Marketing Management from ESIC Business & Marketing School. Nowadays, Emilio works as a teacher at the ESIC Business & Marketing School. Additionally, he has done several lectures in different business schools and other institutions such as APD, INEDE, CEU, ENAE, CEF, IIR España, EEN, LUIS VIVES and several Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations.
Emilio´s professional career began with Chocolates Elgorriaga, where he achieved the Sales Management position. After this, he joined Hero Spain, where he was the Brand Manager of senior food. In 2000 he began his business path by founding the agency Marketing y Comunicación Delfín Group Levante, a subsidiary of Delfín Group (nowadays GMR Marketing). Emilio combined this job with the marketing management of the Spanish GMR Marketing Office and with his job as a consultant at Marketing y Comercial. GMR Marketing belongs to Omnicom Group, the biggest Marketing and Communication group in the world. In 2010 he dissociates himself as a partner from GMR Marketing.
During his professional career, Emilio Llopis has held different management positions in several companies related to communication, consultancy and others. During the last 10 years, he has led and collaborated in more than 100 projects related to consultancy and training in Business, Marketing and Sales Strategy for several companies (from IBEX to PYMEs). He has also led some projects for different public institutions.
Emilio is the founder and president of Marketpym (the National Marketing and Sales Congress for SME in Spain). Furthermore, he is also the founder and first president of the Valencian Marketing Club. At the same time, he collaborated in the Spanish Forum Brand related to the MAPI Programme (High Internationalisation Potential Brands). In 2011 he initiated a professional collaboration with Luis Huete, whom is considered one of the most influencing leading figure in Spanish Management.
