Catherine Barba is the co-founder and General Manager of Digital Commerce Factory, an e-commerce agency she started in 2011 with the founders of vente-privee.com, the leader of online sales events in Europe.
Digital Commerce Factory helps brands and retailers to build a successful crosschannel strategy, by developing their online communication and sales (e-commerce platform, logistics, customer service, marketing…) all over the world.
Prior to Digital Commerce Factory, Catherine started several other businesses in the digital industry such as Malinea, a consulting firm providing advice, coaching and training to managers in online business and e-commerce (acquired by the founders of vente-privee.com in 2011), as well as Cashstore, a cashback website partnering with over 1,200 e-commerce merchants (acquired by Plebicom Group in 2010).
She imported in France the US phenomenon Cyber Monday, the biggest online shopping day of the year, is the author of several books about e-commerce, and investor in tech start-ups (Leetchi, FrenchWeb).
Catherine is also mentoring inner city students to help them build self-confidence and find a job. She is a graduate student from ESCP Europe
