Patricia Ramírez is a psychologist and has a Master degree in Clinic and Health Psychology and also a PhD from the Personality, Evaluation and Psychological Treatment Department at the Universidad de Granada. She has been working for the Hospital San Cecilio in Granada for two years, evaluating and diagnosing dementia and Alzheimer with MD Antonio Huete.
Nowadays, she dedicates her time, on the one hand, to help people working from her own psychology center “Ramireacaracuel” and on the other hand, she teaches at numerous institutions. Patricia Ramírez is the director of the Master Sportive Psychology at the Colegio Oficial de Psicólogos de Andalucía Oriental.
For the above stated Master Degree, Patricia Ramírez teaches her own work model and the variables of sport that affects the high performance (confidence, security, thoughts control, management of emotions, comfort zone, how to compete…). She has worked with several sports clubs and also with top individual athletes. Patricia Ramírez has written some books related to this field and she collaborates with different media, like newspapers, radio and tv programmes.
