Graduate of ESCP-EAP, Ph.D. in Management, University Paris-Dauphine, Marc Benoun designed the first Retailing program at the University Paris-Dauphine. A well-known specialist in Marketing and Retailing, his publications include “Marketing Knowledge and Know-How” and “Retailing: Actors and Strategies”.
In 2006, he created the first specialized course in Brand Management at the UIBE (University of International Business and Economics) in Beijing. In 2008, he updated his E-learning program on Retailing, in the framework of AUNEGE (a French University Consortium).
As professor at the University of Paris-Dauphine, he has developed several continuous education programs: Danone (management training in Retailing Strategy), Auchan Hypermarkets (Marketing for Retailers), PLMA (Management of Private Labels), along with a distant learning program on retailing. Well-known worldwide, Marc Benoun has lectured in China, Lebanon, Morocco, Russia, Spain,Switzerland and Vietnam.
Today, he is consultant in Retailing and in Business Education. He also teaches retailing in Switzerland as visiting professor at UNIL (University of Lausanne), Vietnam (CFVG Franco-Vietnamese Center For Management), Bordeaux (MACI International Business School), and Paris at MOD’SPE (Fashion Management School).
In February 2012, he lead a teaching module at the University of Lausanne on the following topic: “Maîtriser la distribution”, which covered: “Les fonctions et l’évolution de la distribution”, “Le choix des canaux de distribution”, “Les stratégies des groupes de distribution”.
