Ludovic Subran heads the Economic Research department of a leading insurance company. His research ranges from macroeconomic forecasts to country risk analysis to estimating the impacts of public policies on the private sector.
Ludovic started his career at the French Ministry of Finance where he was in charge of inflation forecasting.
He then joined the United Nations World Food Program as an economic advisor in the Office of the Executive Director.
After a couple of years, he moved to the World Bank as an economist and team leader in the Latin America region. Ludovic has been advised over 20 governments throughout the world.
He currently teaches at HEC Business School in Paris. Ludovic contributes to 200 publications and 150 conferences each year.
Often quoted in tier 1 media, Ludovic has been ranked in the top 100 emerging French leaders. He graduated from the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique and from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris.
