About John Stringer
John Stringer is an experienced EU affairs consultant having set-up his own consultancy company in 1987, Berkley Associates sprl, specialized in helping small companies and non-profit organizations obtain and manage funding from the European Union.
For the last ten years John has been providing coaching and training to organizations managing European projects via open and internal courses. In the 10 years that he has been carrying out training, over 1000 participants, principally project managers and administrators have attended the open courses which are held in Brussels. He has also provided internal training courses to both public and private organizations across the EU and further afield. Some examples include: Belgian National Managers Association, RANNIS (Iceland), ETUI – European Trade Union institute for Education and Research (Belgium), European Academy for Taxes, Economics and Law (Germany), University of Almeria (Spain), Mitrovica University (Mitrovica), Shanghai Science and Technology Commission (China), Spark Consulting (Bosnia), Karolinska Institute (Sweden), European Schoolnet (Belgium), European Food Information Council (Belgium).
John has acquired a reputation as being able to communicate complex and technical subjects in an engaging and entertaining way.
In addition to his speaking activities, John regularly chairs and facilitates international meetings for clients and professional associations.
