Ferran Requejo is a passionate professor. He holds a Bachelor in Philosophy, another one in Modern History and has academic knowledge in Energetic Engineering. Currently he is fulltime professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where he focuses on teaching and research in the field of political science and political theory.
As a political expert, Ferran Requejo is the director in Spain of the Research Networking Programme of the European Science Foundation, leading the Multinational Research Project. He is also working in a research programme entitled “Religious Pluralism and Political Decentralization in Europe: are we moving towards a post secular model? A normative and comparative analysis” for the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
Furthermore, Ferran Requejo has given several speeches and conferences. Alongside, his duties as a supervisor of different PhD programmes from 1997 to 2003,he was also a member of the Executive Committee at the European Consortium for Political Research in Essex (UK). Since 1993, Ferran has been a Research Advisor of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, (CICYT and DGICYT programmes).
Winner of the Best Book in 2006 by the Spanish Political Science Association (AECPA) with his book “Multinational Federalism and Value Pluralism, Ferran is also the author of several other books, research papers and articles. In 1997, Ferras won the Rudolf Wildenmann Prize, awarded by the European Consortium for Political Research. In addition to these great achievements, he collaborates with radio and tv programmes and also writes columns for a few Spanish newspapers.
