In 2011 the readers of El Economista, proclaim Dolors Reig to be one of the 10 most influential people on the Internet in Spain. Dolors Reig writes and is interviewed constantly in different media concerning her insight in numerous subjects. She is a social psychologist, speaker and teacher at several Universities and Business Schools about creativity, innovation, social media, technologies and education.
Dolors Reig is a social psychologist and senior editor of El caparazón- one of the most important Spanish blogs in its theme (around 100.000 unique visitors/monthly).
After 20 years of managing institutions, numerous programmes and giving training sessions, she now works as a freelancer, teacher, speaker, consultant and training manager in different companies, institutions, government, Universities and Business Schools (Post-Graduate course about Social Networks at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Degree on Social Education at the same university, Social Media and Community Management courses in IEBS, ESIC-ICEMD, INESDI, EABS and e-learning online contents for enterprises and her own private courses at ‘El caparazón’).
Dolors Reig is frequently seen as a speaker at several events, seminars, and conventions in Spain. Not only does she give lectures in Spain, the rest of the world is also hanging at her lips (Berlín, New York, Providence, Panama, Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Chile and Colombia).
Regarding her traditional studies, she has a bachelor degree in Psychology and graduate labour integration. Furthermore, Dolors also holds a masters title in Criminology and in Multimedia, Design and Web Development. She is currently doing her PhD in Knowledge Society at the UOC.
Alongside Dolors’ current activities she is also an active participant of several scientific committees about social media and education (Horizon Report in high education levels, international edition), future web trends and digital culture (Scientific Committee Telos Magazine).
She has published Socionomia and is co- author of different books and articles. In 2013 Dolors plans to publish the book Los jóvenes en la era de la hiperconectividad: dos miradas (The young in the hiperconnectivity age: two approaches).
