Daniel P. Strunk is a business professional who has more than 35 years of experience in marketing, sales, and customer management and has worked with many leading companies including, The Procter & Gamble Company, Spalding, Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. and The Quaker Oats Company. He was President of BitterSweet Consulting Partnership, directing customer-centric marketing and sales successes for RJR/Nabisco, Bausch & Lomb, NBC Television, the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, ConAgra Foods and Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises.
Dan is a full-time faculty member at DePaul University where he serves as an Executive in Residence and Managing Director of the Center for Sales Leadership. He teaches a variety of subjects covering category management, sales strategy and technology, customer relationship management (CRM), retail management and various courses in marketing strategy. He also has significant international teaching experience at institutions such as the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance, the Helsinki School of Economics and Pan Asia Institute in Taiwan.
He co-authored the definitive new text on CRM and developed an interactive CRM case utilizing salesforce.com and Hoover’s that is currently used in more than 25 schools in the United States. Dan earned a BSBA at Boston College, magna cum laude, in 1973 and an MBA, with distinction, from the Boston University School of Management in 1975.
