About Brent Goff
Brent Goff is the host of “AGENDA with Brent Goff”, the flagship weekly news talk show on Deutsche Welle (DW) TV’s English program. Since its debut in 2012. AGENDA has generated praise and acclaim around the world, including a nomination for an International Emmy Award in 2014. Brent recently appeared on the cover of Indonesia’s leading TV magazine in a profile of “DW’s leading American journalist.”
Brent is also senior anchor of DW’s leading news program, “Journal.” Before his move to the main anchor desk, Brent presented the business news and hosted the business magazine show, “Made in Germany.” He has interviewed almost every CEO of Germany’s DAX-listed companies.
Brent was nominated as a “Young Global Leader” at the World Economic Forum in 2008 for his excellent reporting and anchoring on the financial crisis.
Since 2012 Brent has interviewed the movers and shakes of the IT world as moderator of the CeBIT Global Conferences in Hannover. The week-long conference is the largest in the Information Communication Technology sector and is Germany’s premier IT showcase.
Brent can be heard on numerous German TV & radio stations, including DeutschlandRadio & Bayerisches Rundfunk, offering analysis of American politics, business, and foreign policy.
