Benoit is the author of the Retail Coaching book, currently available in Spanish and French, and is the key reference of this new discipline.
Breton, a French national with an international culture, Benoit started in the exciting world of sales at the age of 16 selling flowers at the market in his home town of Vannes (France) for a summer job. At the age of 24, he was managing 12 stores and 80 employees for a Retail chain in Chile. In addition to collaborating with the introduction of digital technology in the photographic sector, he restructured the business model of the 8,500 licensed and franchised stores Kodak Express in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has also opened over 100 stores in 20 countries around the world for a furniture Franchise chain.
He then started to feel certain Frustration not to be able to translate the big Vision, the brilliant power point presentations, into a comprehensive message to the first line: the Store. He then discovers Coaching, NLP and Emotional Intelligence. And combining with the professional methods of Retailing, he elaborates his own method: the RETAIL COACHING method.
In his book Retail Coaching and in his conferences, Benoit shows how we can transform the culture of Retail Marketing and Sales from a starting point of “pushing products at people” into an expected point of creating a space for relationships and mutual satisfaction with the staff; then, with the Client.
Through Coaching he sees that we can empower the retailer as the “Front Line” of business to achieve Breakthrough into the driver of “Bottom line”, and do so in a way that is consistent with the company‘s higher values and commitments to their shareholders.

Some of his clients are: Alain Afflelou, L’Oréal, PepeJeans, Liverpool in Mexico… and also Chambers of Commerce, Local Retailer Associations…
Benoit Mahé holds an Executive MBA from Instituto de Empresa (Madrid, Spain) and has a degree in Business Administration from CESEM (Reims France). Benoit is a certified Coach by the ICF (International Coach Federation), Master Practionner in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and member of the Global Speaker Federation.
