Anne Vermès is an entrepreneur and founder of ‘Traits d’unions’ since 2003. Her company uses the analogy with History as a source of inspiration, reflection, motivation, and transformation to initiate behavioral changes. This allows for the evolution of current management practices, empowering employees to be active participants in these changes, successfully navigating the phases of transition and transformation within their company, and finally embedding training concepts to accelerate practical implementation upon returning to the workplace. As a parliamentary assistant and technical advisor to political leaders (regional and national), she also led the implementation of major tourism projects in Île-de-France in collaboration with ‘Disney’ from 1992 to 2001. With a master’s degree in law and economics, she graduated from the Institute of Political Studies in Paris and holds a postgraduate degree in urban planning, architecture, and local development from the same institute. Anne Vermès is also the author of three works published by Eyrolles: – Managing a Project like Gustave Eiffel – which won the Rotary Prize (Business Book Award 2014) – Motivating like Nicolas Fouquet – Undertaking like the Lumière Brothers. In this capacity, she is the Director of the ‘History and Management’ collection at Eyrolles. Her interventions include support and transformations through the lens of the History of People and participatory innovation for large banking groups, industrial groups, and training (management, ‘developing leadership’ pathways, project management, optimizing negotiation…) for companies in various sectors: luxury, fashion, housing, industrial sector, banking/insurance, and large distribution.
