Peter Zamborsky is a Senior Lecturer in International Business and Strategy at the University of Auckland Business School in New Zealand. Prior to his job at the University of Auckland, Peter was an instructor at Harvard University and lecturer at Brandeis University in Boston, where he earned his doctorate. He earned his MSc degree from the London School of Economics.
From 1999 to 2002, Peter worked for the Economist Group (a publisher of The Economist magazine). Peter strives for insight, clarity and impact in his presentations and writing. He talked on topics such as ‘thriving in a subscription economy’ at a digital services futures conference in New Zealand, and taught hands-on courses in managing international business in the MBA programmes in New Zealand and US. Peter’s expertise is mainly in global strategy and innovation topics. He co-authored Contemporary International Business in the Asia-Pacific Region (Cambridge University Press, 2019) and a number of cases published by SAGE Publications, including one on dynamic capabilities of Netflix. His publications appeared in leading journals in international business, management and economics. He is an editorial review board member of International Journal of Emerging Markets (Emerald Publishing), and was quoted by Wall Street Journal and BBC.
