Mandy Woelkens is the presenter of, among others, 'Op de Matrix' and podcast host of 'De Club' about single parenting. She addresses societal themes and stands for inclusivity, inspiring people to be themselves.
Mandy Woelkens is a presenter and podcast host. In 2011, Mandy graduated from the Theater, Film, and Television Studies program at Utrecht University, after which she began at 3FM in 2012. Over several years, Mandy gradually moved from behind the scenes to the forefront. In 2015, Mandy became the presenter of the festival coverage for 3FM. She then started at Q-Music in 2016 as a radio DJ, where she worked until 2018. Afterward, Mandy appeared on television and online channels as the presenter of ‘Zapplive’, ‘KVWeetjes’, ‘&C TV’, and ‘RTL Boulevard’. From 2020 to the end of 2021, she was the managing editor at Cosmopolitan, where she dedicated herself to making the magazine more inclusive. From April 2022 to July 2024, she continued her mission at the magazine LINDA.meiden, where she left her mark as editor-in-chief.
In the fall of 2021, Mandy, together with her joyfriend Thorn, released the book ‘FAQ Gender‘. In this book, they hope to answer the gender FAQ once and for all and dispel the gender gray clouds. In 2023, Mandy is the presenter of the program ‘Op de Matrix’ on NPO3. Since January 1, 2024, Mandy has been a regular part of the radio program ‘MetMandy’ for broadcaster Zwart on NPO Radio 1. In September 2024, Mandy launched her podcast ‘De Club’ about single parenting.
Mandy gives keynotes on inclusivity, racism, queer rights, and gender equality. She can tailor the presentation to the specific wishes of the event organizer. As a moderator, she speaks out on feminism, gender equality, sexuality, and diversity.
