His experience ranges from serving as Head of Impact, Equity, and Inclusion for Kolektivo, a regenerative finance startup, to working with numerous government institutions, both locally and globally.
With a background in International and European Governance and Global Impact, Gilberto’s expertise spans topics from AI, climate change, and migration to systems thinking, youth engagement, and Web3. He serves as Co-Director for the Creative Regenerative Futures Foundation, is a former Youth Advisor for the European Commissioner for International Partnerships, and is a Germal Marshall Fund TILN Alumnus.
He is also a Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum, a member of the 2100 movement, and a Climate Reality Leader. Gilberto serves on the supervisory board of the Dutch Caribbean civil society foundation OCAN, the Board of Trustees for the geopolitics firm Krijger & Partners, and the societal council of the Dutch Research Institute for the Transitions.
