Denise Kortlever is a food journalist, presenter, and trendwatcher. She is the bestselling author of internationally acclaimed books such as All-day breakfast and All-day goodness. Her work has been featured in LINDA., VOGUE, &C, delicious., and on RTL4. Denise also hosted her own show on LINDA.tv and is frequently interviewed by media outlets like NOS, RTL Nieuws, and Nu.nl as a trendwatcher.
As a speaker, Denise shares insights on food trends, healthy eating, and the developments she observes during her travels. She was a keynote speaker at the Food Inspiration Days, where she captivated a room full of food professionals with her presentation on the emerging breakfast trend. For organizations such as Avans University of Applied Sciences, Denise spoke about vitality and healthy eating, sharing practical insights employees could apply right away. She has also spoken for organizations like HEMA, Edeka, Makro, Vriesvers Platform (o.a. Albert Heijn en Dr Oetker), Zukunft Institut, and AF&BM.
In addition to her speaking engagements, Denise is an experienced presenter and moderator with expertise in food, communication, trendwatching, children and health. With over 15 years of experience, both in live and digital events and in Dutch as well as in English. For instance, she hosted the international cooking competitions ‘San Pellegrino Young Chef Academy’ and the ‘Culinary Cup 2025’ and its accompanying gala evenings. She served as the moderator for Unilever Food Solutions, where she interviewed Michelin-star chefs like Joris Bijdendijk (**) in front of an audience of 600+ chefs. She also moderated Misset Horeca’s digital Terras Kickstart and presented large live events for San Pellegrino, Amsterdam UMC, Compass Group and Kinderen voor Kinderen.
