Michiel Dijkman is an energetic executive, passionate speaker, and sharp moderator. Since 2022, he has been the executive director of the Economic Board in the Utrecht Metropolitan Region. This is a network organization that includes representatives from business, knowledge institutions, and government. Previously, he was an executive at the educational organization Nuffic and for a long time served as director of communication & sustainability at technology company Samsung. Throughout his life, he has worked at the intersection of public and private sectors.
