Jacques Gautrand is a specialist in economics and business, particularly SMEs/ETIs. In regular contact with business leaders, entrepreneurs, professional networks, elected officials, and experts, he created and runs Consulendo.com, a site for reflection and analysis dedicated to business and management.
As an economic journalist, Jacques Gautrand has been collaborating since 2007 with the Express-Roularta Group, where he follows the news of franchise businesses. Previously, he held editorial responsibilities in press companies such as the Jeune Afrique Group and the Expansion Group. In this capacity, he hosted Les Rencontres de L’Entreprise, the Forums of L’Expansion in the Region, the Grand Prix, and the Academy of the Entrepreneur. He also co-presented “Le Journal des Régions” on the LCI channel and participated in the production of the first “Guide des 100 Villes qui font l’économie française” (in partnership with Les Echos).
Jacques Gautrand has extensive experience in moderating conferences, debates, symposiums, and seminars for executives. He knows how to make speakers comfortable and synthesize discussions.
He can also speak as a lecturer on current topics or communication issues.
He is also comfortable in an intercultural context: he has notably lived and worked in Australia and Africa. He has conducted reports and participated in symposiums abroad.
A graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris and holding a DES in Political Science from the Sorbonne, Jacques Gautrand is a member of the Press Club of France and the AJPME.
