About Arend Jan Boekestijn
Arend Jan Boekestijn was born in Amstelveen in The Netherlands. He has an MA in political science and history. From 1986-1989 he was research assistant European University Institute in Florence. From 1989 onwards he is assistant-professor history at Utrecht University. From 2006-2009 he was a member of Parliament for the VVD.
Boekestijn has published extensively on the history of the European States System and European Integration. He is also a successful podcast maker. Boekestijn and De Wijk has 100.000 daily listeners. Europa Draait Door 65.000 weekly listeners. In 2022 he was awarded the BNR Podcast Award. Boekestijn is a member of the Peace and Security Committtee of the Dutch Advisory Council for International Questions (AIV).

A wealth of insight and USPs to offer
Niels managed to inspire our Peugeot Scooter dealers with a new image of design. In four sessions spread over the day, he took around 200 dealers into the world of automotive design. With his beautiful, carefully chosen visuals and words, Niels extensively and inspiringly highlighted the brand value of Peugeot and Peugeot scooters in particular. With this, we Moteo Nederland BV, as an independent Peugeot scooter importer for the Netherlands, were able to offer the dealer a wealth of insight and USPs. In our special Peugeot magazine E#MOTION, published in the four countries in which Moteo Groupe NV is active, Niels provided an article in which his structure and inspiring words can be read again. I enjoyed working with Niels on the preparations and our dealer sessions Marketing and More.
