With a Master’s degree in Geomorphology, a DUT in Marketing Techniques, a DEA in Hydrology, and a DESS in Business Administration, Marie-Christine Oghly began her career in public relations in 1980 with the ELF Group. In 1986, she joined Amazon Technology as Marketing Manager for Europe, then Market Manager, continuing her rise to the General Management of the company.
In 1992, Marie-Christine Oghly successively took over the management of Fluid Dynamics International and Flowmaster France, then the presidency of Esteco France in September 2006. At the end of 2008, the merger of Flowmaster and Esteco France led to the creation of EnginSoft France. At the helm of this structure specializing in consulting and training in engineering and computer design, Marie-Christine Oghly takes on a new challenge.
Alongside this entrepreneurial commitment, Marie-Christine Oghly continues her civic and associative engagement that began many years ago. She was elected in 2004 as National President of the Association of Women Business Leaders and became Director of the Board of Nafems “The International Association for the Engineering Analysis Community”, and since June 2013, Marie-Christine Oghly is National Honorary President of Women Business Leaders.
In January 2008, she was elected President of MEDEF Ile-de-France and also became a member of the Executive Council of MEDEF chaired by Laurence Parisot.
In October 2009, Marie-Christine Oghly became European Commissioner FCEM and, recognized by her peers in the field of numerical simulation, she was elected president of Micado.
In January 2010, she was unanimously elected president of Solendi.
In November 2011, she was elected Vice-President of the World Association of Women Business Leaders. Being the only non-governmental association, FCEM is now present in more than 70 countries, with consultative status at the United Nations and the Council of Europe, as well as representation with the European Union, UNCTAD, UNIDO, UNDP, OECD, and the International Labour Organization (ILO).
Marie-Christine Oghly is a Knight in the National Order of Merit and a Knight in the National Order of the Legion of Honor.
