Holder of a master’s degree in international economics and a DESS in international business, Jérôme Boué is an atypical economist as he comes from the business world. After many years spent in Canada (Toronto) for the CIDELCEM INDUSTRIES group (world leader in equipment for collective catering) as sales director, he collaborated on the development of the Leclerc group within SIPLEC. After joining the analysis firm ACDEFI (the leading independent economic and financial consulting firm serving businesses, professionals, and individuals), he simultaneously and during the financial crisis joined the Global Equities group and then ASSYA (brokerage, wealth management, commodities, bonds, structured products) where he joined Marc Touati in the macroeconomic analysis service. At the heart of the financial crisis, he was one of the pillars of the macroeconomic research team that anticipated the debt crisis in the eurozone in February 2009 and announced as early as 2009 the recovery of the global economy as well as the decline of oil prices and the euro/dollar exchange rate. He founded his consulting firm CAPNEXT in 2013 and primarily works with large companies (CARREFOUR, BETC…) and banks, but also with SMEs and mid-sized enterprises. An expert at APM (Association for the Progress of Management), he is one of the most sought-after speakers in economics. Jérôme Boué has developed an expertise that allows him to analyze crises based on economic fundamentals and has a great ability to easily convey complex economic phenomena. In the context of a conference, he addresses head-on all questions related to the crisis and the economy: the evolution of commodity prices and currencies, the recovery in the United States, risks in emerging countries, the debt crisis in the eurozone, and the paths and prospects for exiting the crisis in France. An essential meeting to gauge what is truly at stake, while moving away from a bleak outlook without perspective. Mr. Boué speaks at several conferences: – The crisis, how long will it last? (Theme addressed at APM) – The role of commodities and currencies in the economy. – Will the Chinese yuan ever replace the dollar? – Can the eurozone still break apart? – France: what structural reforms are needed to regain growth? – Is the return of growth and employment in the United States sustainable? – The American growth model. – The Chinese growth model. – The German growth model. – The Japanese growth model. – The French growth model.
