About Bernard Besson

Honorary General Controller of the Central Directorate of Internal Intelligence (DCRI), the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN), and the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), Bernard Besson founded Bernard Besson Consulting in 2010. He currently conducts economic intelligence audits in companies and organizations.

Former special advisor to the High Official for Economic Intelligence, he was responsible for initial and ongoing training in economic intelligence. In this capacity, he led the working group responsible for drafting the French training framework for economic intelligence intended for universities and engineering schools.

He is the author of several books, essays, and fiction related to economic intelligence and is a member of the board of the Academy of Economic Intelligence and the Economic Intelligence Commission of MEDEF Ile de France.

He also teaches Economic Intelligence at several French and foreign universities and grandes écoles.
