About Alejandro Masferrer
He grew up listening to his father’s vinyls (from Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds to The Beatles). Alejandro Masferrer got his first approach to the creative world in the design side, studying Graphic design and Multimedia and working in a small graphic design studio in Sevilla. After that, he soon moved to Madrid to work at the internationally awarded studio named BaseDesign.
At BaseDesign, Alejandro became passion about working in the cultural world and collaborating with different people from different backgrounds and cultures. An important lesson learnt was about building a culture of sharing and learning from each other and realizing how important it is to think globally.
During this period, alongside his work, Alejandro started Sello Salvaje, a small independent record label, developing his other passion: music.
Three years later he moved to Stockholm to study at Hyper Island, getting more and more passionate everyday about ideas, concepts and working in teams. In August of 2012, alongside 5 other friends/students, Alejandro started The Pop Up Agency: a nomadic and creative business, traveling around the world, finding business solutions for a grand variety of clients using a unique method. Clients included: Coca Cola, Facebook, Cheap Monday and many others. Recently, they have opened their office in London where Alejandro is currently based until his next adventure with The Pop Up Agency. For a quick impression.. click here
