About Matthias Prinz

Prof. Dr. Prinz is one of the most prominent attorneys in Germany. He is known for his very successful litigation practice and many important precedents that have changed German law over the last 25 years. He has appeared as a litigator before the German Federal Appeals Court, German Federal Constitutional Court, and the European Court for Human Rights. Prof. Dr. Prinz has acted for many prominent individuals such as H.M. The King of Sweden, H.S.H. The Prince of Monaco, H.M. The Sultan of Brunei, former German chancellor Gerhard Schröder, and also for such corporate clients as AUDI, DEUTSCHE BANK, DEUTSCHE TELEKOM, SIEMENS, and VW. Prof. Dr. Prinz is the founder of Prinz Neidhardt Engeschall, a law firm with offices in Hamburg and Berlin, that specializes in the law of defamation, protection of privacy, and reputation.
