Coronel is the founder/owner of Create2Fit (parent company of, among others, Plasma-Discounter.nl, Koffiediscounter.nl, Barbecueshop.nl, Wasmachine.nl, Koelkast.nl, Gamediscounter.com, and Stofzuigerdiscounter.nl), founder/owner of Social Media Agency Booster Media Solutions, e-commerce man of the year 2011, international race car driver (FIA WTCC), founder/owner of his own racing team, race instructor at Rensportschool Zandvoort, enthusiastic coach of young, promising aspiring race car drivers, and of course an inspiring speaker at many occasions.

Coronel’s business instinct was seriously developed about 10 years ago when he came into contact with LG’s plasma TVs. Coronel was certain: there is business in this. He started Create2Fit BV. After some ups and downs, he focused on selling plasma televisions online. It was the time when the internet bubble had just burst, and everyone declared him crazy. But Coronel was sure: online sales are the future. And he was right. His company grew from the typical attic room over the past 10 years into a substantial business with revenues of over 48 million per year. With 50 employees, this company is a market leader in its industry.

Besides being an entrepreneur, Tom Coronel is also well-known as a race car driver. Racing was instilled in him and his twin brother Tim by their father Tom Coronel Sr. His sporting career took off in 1990. Since then, Coronel has raced in various racing classes. First in the Netherlands and later at an international top level. He lived in Japan for 5 years and won the Japanese Formula 3 Championship, as well as the Formula Nippon Championship and the International Masters of Formula 3. In the following years, Coronel significantly expanded his CV with numerous races, victories, and championships such as DTCC, Dakar, 24 hrs Nurburgring, the ETCC, WTCC, and the Le Mans Series.

In television, he has also been active. He presented the program AutoExperience and analyzes Formula 1 races. Furthermore, he is a sought-after participant or jury member in various programs.

Tom Coronel was born on April 5, 1972, in Naarden. He is the father of 2 children. In motorsport, Coronel is currently active for BMW in the FIA World Touring Car Championship (FIA WTCC) and for Spyker in Le Mans. As a coach, he trains young talented drivers in his own Dutch racing team together with his twin brother Tim, and as an entrepreneur, he still daily focuses on internet marketing, sales, social media, and everything related to new media.
