His career began on the football field. There, he learned early on what discipline, expectations, and pressure mean. Elite sports are outwardly about winning, but inwardly, it is primarily about dealing with doubt, disappointment, and the constant need to prove who you are. Behind every match was a process of falling, getting back up, and making choices, often at moments when no one is watching.
It is precisely those experiences that have shaped Romano. Not only the successes but especially the moments when things did not go as planned. The moments when you realize that performances are temporary, but character must be built to last. That was the beginning of his quest to discover who he is outside the field.
After his active sports career, he shifted his focus to coaching and social impact. He worked intensively with young people, talent programs, and organizations where sports were not just a goal but a means. A means to develop self-confidence, find direction, and create connections. He discovered that the same principles that apply in a locker room—trust, responsibility, and environment—are crucial in education, organizations, and daily life.
Today, he works as a football connector, speaker, and mentor for talents and organizations. He connects people, ideas, and initiatives both within and outside the sports world. In his lectures, he translates the lessons from elite sports into leadership, collaboration, culture, and personal responsibility.
