Dr. Patricia Bulsing, psychologist and expert in emotions and perception, and Sanne van Zoest, laughter specialist who has made about 25,000 people laugh, have delved into the fascinating world of laughter.
Patricia Bulsing has always been interested in the emotions of others, so it was only logical that she obtained her master’s degree in Cognitive Psychology at Leiden University in 2004, with a specialization in Neuropsychology.
Between 2004 and 2009, she worked on her doctoral research at Utrecht University, studying the influence of expectations on scent perception. She then spent about seven years at Unilever and now brightens things up as a lecturer and researcher at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the field of nutrition and psychology.
A marriage to a laughter specialist and a love for clearly and enthusiastically explaining the wonders of the brain and science proved to be a perfect mix and fertile ground for a wonderful new interest: talking about the importance of laughter!
Laughter is seriously important!
Sanne van Zoest has been laughing since 2010 on behalf of her company Alles Lach. Sanne enjoys working with people. She laughs a lot and loves to do so. What could be better than making a career out of a combination of the two? Laughing with people! She wants to inspire you and make you laugh. Teach you something and perhaps even give you something for the future…
A Trainer’s course at ICM Opleiding & Trainingen, a course in Positive Psychology, and an intensive course with Dr. Madan Kataria, the founder and creator of the concept “laughter without reason,” in India have provided theoretical knowledge, certificates, and diplomas.
Sanne’s expertise and immense passion for everything related to positivism, optimism, and laughter provide additional knowledge. Her enthusiasm and cheerfulness are contagious. This makes her a dream laughter coach and a true laughter specialist.
