Pascal de Lima is an economist and teacher at Sciences-po. Currently Chief Economist and founder of Economiccell, a monitoring, research, and conference unit on the economy, he has 14 years of experience in management consulting and information systems (Knowledge Management at Ernst & Young consulting, Chief Economist of Altran). Doctor in Economic Sciences from the Institute of Political Studies in Paris, he teaches economics there. He has also taught Finance at HEC.
Author of numerous articles and interviews published in the press and media and in various academic journals, he has also published “Journey to the Heart of a Revolution: Microfinance Against Poverty” (Editions Jean-Claude Lattès, 2007) presented by Jacques Attali and Yann Arthus Bertrand and prefaced by Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize winner. He also published “Banking Strategy: Between Equity and Efficiency” (European University Editions, 2010). In September 2012, he published “Banking Economics and Economic Growth” with DUNOD, prefaced by Christian de Boissieu, then President of the Council of Economic Analysis to the Prime Minister, and “Could the Chinese Economic Colossus Stand on Clay Feet?” in a collective economic work in April 2013 with Editions Foucher. He published in May 2013 “The Fantastic Accounts of Finance” (with Editions La voix au chat libre).
