Prof. Dr. Max Otte, born in 1964 in Plettenberg/Westphalia, has been a full professor (C-3) of International and General Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Worms since 2001. In 2011, he accepted a position at the Institute for Corporate Management at the Karl-Franzens-University Graz.
Previously, after studying at the University of Cologne and earning his doctorate at Princeton University, Max Otte worked at Boston University and was involved in establishing the Executive M.B.A. program in Business Integration at the University of Würzburg.
As a recognized expert in the field of Value Investing, he collaborates with the Heilbrunn Center for Graham and Dodd Investing at Columbia University (New York, USA) and is the Director of the Center for Value Investing e.V.
For his strategy, he was awarded the title “Stock Market Investor of the Year” by the readers of the trade magazine Börse Online for three consecutive years since 2009. In his weekly stock market newsletter “DER PRIVATINVESTOR,” he publishes information on publicly listed companies together with his analysis team at the IFVE Institute for Asset Development.
