Jean-Marc Borello
Founder and President of Groupe SOS, France's leading social enterprise
Born in 1957 in Aix en Provence, Jean-Marc Borello began his career as a specialized educator in a reception center for young delinquents. In 1981, he was appointed advisor to the Interministerial Mission for the Fight Against Drugs and Drug Addiction, then held various positions in ministerial offices. He discovered "traditional" entrepreneurship in 1987 and led a group of SMEs for 10 years. In 1997, he decided to dedicate himself full-time to the Group.
