From 1990 to 2000, Jean-Jacques Gressier worked within the Accor group. First at the Ibis Hotels France West Division, then at the Novotel Hotels South of France Division. At the end of 1999, while managing 85 hotels of the Accor group, Jean-Jacques decided to dedicate all his professional energy to enhancing the service professions and those who perform them.
It is with this project that he took over the Management of Training for the Group at the beginning of 2000. In 2002, he decided to positively respond to companies seeking Accor’s experience in terms of Service. Until 2003, he served as Director of the Accor Academy. Since 2004, Jean-Jacques Gressier has created and directed the Académie du Service®, an independent organization that, through its consulting actions in marketing and service management, serves as a true research laboratory for Accor as well as other groups and companies.
He has intervened or advised groups and companies such as Essilor, Manutan, Vinci Park, SNCF, Paris Airport, MMA, Société Générale, Foncia, etc. Jean-Jacques Gressier is a graduate of the Strasbourg Hotel School.
