Gerriet Danz has been one of the most recognized experts in innovation and creativity in the German-speaking world for over two decades. The lectures, seminars, and coaching sessions of this passionate lateral thinker, multiple startup founder, and bestselling author are as inspiring and unusual as the mix of his experiences.
Initially, he worked as a creative director at the international advertising agency BBDO, supporting global players in the development of innovative products, services, and campaigns. His career then led him to television: Gerriet Danz worked for SPIEGEL TV, developed new TV formats, and even hosted VOX NEWS and the classic knowledge show “JEOPARDY.”
Motivating, humorous, and practical, he conveys how companies can become innovative and how to overcome creative barriers. In 2010, his book “Neu präsentieren” was published by CAMPUS, in which he presents a new creative form of presentation. Within three weeks, it reached number 1 on the advice bestseller list at Amazon. Managementbuch.de stated: “The best book for convincing presentations…!” It has since achieved bestseller status in Asia as well. His latest book “An die Wand geworfen” was published in December 2013 by Heyne Verlag.
Today, he is a lecturer at Steinbeis University Berlin and an instructor at the ARD-ZDF Media Academy. He coaches top journalists, athletes, TV stars, and business leaders, and advises, among others, the European Patent Office.
