A sound mind in a sound body… Better than anyone, Fabien GILOT embodies this Latin quote. Indeed, anyone who has ever met Fabien immediately falls under the charm of this classy young man who radiates kindness and courtesy.

An exceptional swimmer, his simplicity and selflessness make him an extraordinary man. In a sports world distorted by financial contingencies, Fabien brings a touch of spontaneity, freshness, and intelligence that has pleased the French during the summer of 2010 at the European Championships in Budapest. A key player in the long-awaited victory of the French 4x100m relay, no one will forget that final “touch” from Fabien that restored pride to the French relay team and to an entire nation. That same year, Fabien also won the silver medal in the 4x100m Freestyle relay at the European Championships, as well as the bronze medal in the 50m Freestyle. He is also the French Champion in Long Course for the 100m Freestyle and the French Champion in Short Course for the 100m Butterfly and 100m Freestyle.

The year 2010 also marked a global crowning achievement with no less than three medals at the World Championships in Dubai: Gold in the 4x100m, Silver in the 100m Freestyle, and Bronze in the 4x200m relay. In 2011, Fabien retained his title as French Champion in the 100m Freestyle and also became the vice-world champion in the 4x100m Individual Medley relay and the 4x200m Individual Medley relay.

This “ch’ti” who draws from his roots a straightforwardness and strength of character has forged his success through hard work and dedication. He is the ideal athlete for a company that wants to turn a partnership into a shared moment and mutual success.

Committed and involved, Fabien is the Marseille representative of “1 jersey for life” which collects jerseys and items donated by high-level athletes, signed and/or worn during competitions, with the aim of exhibiting and organizing their sale. Through this gesture, the committed athletes contribute to the well-being of sick children: autograph sessions in hospitals, meetings between children and champions inside and outside the hospital, donations of equipment, and the organization of various activities. Fabien is the local sponsor of the Red Cross.
